The King of wands is a strong willed leader who knows what he wants and is keen to follow a direct route to get it. This person’s charisma is such that people naturally want to follow, or at least are willing to be caught up in his wake. He can be like a force of nature, plowing through any and every obstacle in his path. A good person to have around when there are things that need to be done, as long as he at least thinks they are things that he needs to get done.
When this king’s energies are turned on their head, we see a person who has no patience with time wasters or people who just don’t understand his mission. He’ll leave them behind in a heartbeat – they will just slow him down or get in his way. If you do tag along, be sure to give this king what he wants when he wants it, and make sure it’s right the first time. Mistakes won’t be tolerated. He doesn’t even understand how they could be made.
It’s a good idea to watch your back with this one. This king has a strong focus on power, and is always looking for an advantage. They might be your pal and smile at you one day, then stab you in the back the next if there is a perceived advantage to it. The King of Wands can be manipulative in achieving his goal. Combined with the overwhelming self-confidence, this person would make an outstanding cult leader, getting people to abandon their old lives and embrace new ones to suit his agenda. If it also suits theirs, fine. If it doesn’t, that’s fine too. They will get the blame – they didn’t follow the program closely enough, they aren’t ready or capable of being part of the group, whatever. It will never be the leader who is at fault, because the reversed King of Wands is always right, even when he knows he isn’t.
